Love it. Keeps coffee hot all day
Love this. It keeps coffee hot all day long. We heat it up with hot water, pour it out then put the coffee in it. We used to keep the electric coffee pot on all day. Now we are saving the electricity, wear on the coffee pot, and the coffee is tasting better (not burnt). So far so good with the lid. No leaks. Took it on a trip for a ladles tea. Worked wonderfully. I would highly recommend this product. Love it!We're still using this almost every day. Still works great. No problems keeping the coffee hot all day. The top is still in great shape too. We bought one for backup but I don't think that we will be using it for a while. 2/2023

This carafe is the real deal—super hot!
I really love this! I got it for Christmas. I don’t mind cleaning it. It’s not difficult. Here’s what I love....it keeps my hot tea as hot as can be. I asked for it for Christmas because I needed a way to keep my tea hot throughout the day. I haven’t put my coffee in it but I know it will work perfectly. I put boiling water in it at 9 am in preparation for a Christmas get together with my family at noon. The hot water was for the hot chocolate bar and it was a hit. Because it is so large there was water left and at 9:30 pm, when I poured out what was left, I burned my finger. It was still scalding hot. This is why I asked my husband for a carafe and thank goodness he found this one on amazon. I highly recommend it.

Maintains hot really well when filled
This carafe works really well when filled to the top. I wash it every night and when done I fill it with hot water and let it sit all night. I did this originally as a test to see how hot it'd be the next day. I was pleasantly surprised that it was still quite hot. I still do this so that it's hot already when I pour in my fresh pot of coffee. Not sure it's necessary but habit now.One day I didn't make any coffee (I was ok, just had to leave before I could make it) and let the carafe sit another day and night. Surprisingly, it was still warm. Not coffee cup hot, but warm enough you could pour on yourself and not get shivers. However, this heat retention doesn't last nearly as long when it's only half full. I only make half a pot of coffee each morning (about 6 cups). Even after priming the carafe with hot water, I notice a temperature difference by the time I drink the last cup about 3 hours later. Don't get me wrong, it's still pretty warm, but not so hot that I have to just sip it.I'm a little worried about the lid as the lever to open it for pouring is light plastic, but so far it's holding up well.I still use and recommend it as it fits my needs.

From five star to one to five...and back to one now.
When we got the first one, no problems for a few months and then the vacuum seal failed. I contacted the company, and after some requests for a picture, they sent me a new one...great! Unfortunately, the second one, which I test yesterday with some hot water, is also bad right out of the gate. The top was slightly different on the second one, and has some suspicious brownish stains on the bottom seal (?) leading me to think it may have been a return by another customer...but not sure.I'm done, I've already wasted too much time communicating with the company over the first failed one. I have owned (decades before Yeti appeared) at least 70 or 80 different SS vacuum insulated cups and bottles (yes...I have a problem!) and both cheap (kmart) and expensive (Nissan), and only about 6 or 7 have had the vacuum fail before these did. They have some serious quality control issues to examine. I may try to add a video of a before or after hot water addition with my infrared gun for both...tricky with reflective surfaces like SS, but it will show the difference.

Excellent Performance
Kept my first pot of coffee hot for 12 hours+, as advertised. For me, a thermal carafe is essential as coffee tastes best for the longest when consumed fresh brewed, and begins to have its flavor qualities compromised immediately after initial brew if kept exposed to continuous heat in an open carafe. Sealing it, so that it keeps its initial heat and limits exposure to air not only allows you to enjoy hot coffee longer, but better tasting coffee longer. The Vondior 68 oz only drawback for me is that it is a bit larger than I need and I can't truly fill it with one full coffee maker pot. But I am not going to take any stars away for that... that is on me, should have done my capacity math.
