This is the real thing. It fits into the machine perfectly. It feeds well. And the labels are good quality. The joy of low price is quickly forgotten amidst the frustration and disappointment of low quality, so just buy quality and only cry once.

It's Genuine for a Reason
I have a of couple of Brother P-Touch labelers. I know that I can buy the knock-off or "generic" tape, but this brand has never let me down and lasts a really long time wherever you place it. This is a product that is worth paying a little extra up-front to get a quality product. Definitely recommend.

Brother is Best Quality. I'm Lifetime User.
I've used Brother Label Makers and Genuine Brother P-Touch Labels at work and at home for decades. I use labels for everything from office document notebooks and files to storage garage bins. As a hobby/service for my employer and my church I've taught workshops on how to organize for years. Brother products are my go-to. I recommend them highly to people who take my seminars. I have never tried the other brands that claim to work with Brother Label Makers, so I can't compare quality. I'm sticking with the Brother brand.
