After trying many other razor brands I found these to be the very best in terms of getting an excellent shave with rare cuts that are not too bad when they happen. Others such as Sensor Excel cut badly into my skin even when new due to blade nicks engraved in the metal often make me bleed for a longwhile with deep cuts. In addition these blades are priced much much lower than most others. I highly recommend these blades

I've been using BIC disposables of one form or another for 20+ years. Their products have always performed as good as the more expensive, nationally advertised razors. Most recently I tried the BIC Comfort Disposable Razor. I was suspect that three blades was more a gimmick than a better solution. Much to my surprise, this 3-blade razor with gel strip delivered the smoothest, closest shave I believe I've ever experienced. Positives: Handle is textured for a sure grip. Other BICs have a smooth plastic handle. When your hands are wet and slippery from shaving cream, a smooth plastic handle presents grip challenges. Three blades really did provide a closer shave with less strokes. The gel strip added additional smoothness. On days 1 - 3, I did not notice any difference in shaving comfort or closeness. On day 4 I could tell the blades work starting to lose their edge. Gel strip still did it's job. On day 5 blades clearly were losing their edge. Gel strip almosts exhausted. A bit of discomfort as I shaved my upper lip. Still, my face was extremely smooth in the more difficult areas such as around the lips & chin. I have no hesitation using blade on day 6 (Saturday). Will start with a fresh blade on Monday. As soon as I post this review, I'll be buying a year's supply of these razors. (Reviewed 9-25-20. I've been using the same BIC Comfort 3 Disposable Razor for the past 6 weeks, and it still works great. Previous I used high-cost name brand 5-blade razors. These BIC's give me a comparable close shave, without any nicks, for a fraction of the price. So I learned that, for me, the 5-blade name brand razors was just overkill. Now I enjoy the feeling that I'm saving money whenever I do my morning shave. Thanks BIC!

I bought these BIC razors since they are about half the price of the Gillette ones I usually buy, which are the Sensor 3 Sensitive (green handles). I was hoping the BICs would be about as good and I could save some money going forward.Sadly the BICs do not shave as close to the skin, and I end up going over areas on my face more than once. The BICs also do not rinse out as fast or as well, as the Gillette razors. I rinse from the back and from the front, but the BICs are slow to rinse out hair and even shaving gel rinses out slower it seems. So for those 2 reasons, I will probably give the rest of my BICs away or keep them for backups.

Much better than Gillette equivalent! Easy shaving with no drag. Wish I had tried these earlier in my life!
