Using regular clippers has become impossible for my hubby due to arthritis & residual effects of carpal tunnel surgery. I ordered these in hopes he will be able to clip his nails the way he is accustomed to. 4 stars because he says they are awkward, not your run of the mill clippers but I feel after a period of adjustment he will be happy with them.It's important, the little things, which help an individual keep their independence no matter how small. Little things mean a lot.

I bought these nail clippers for my husband's nasty toenails that tend to become ingrown several times a year. I was impressed when they arrived as the handles were much longer than I expected making them easier to clip with. Also, they are shaped so that you can very easily clip toenails without having to put your hand and wrist at an awkward position. I will probably end up ordering a pair for myself too!

I have a diseased toenail and it is really thick. I had such a difficult time keeping it trimmed and keeping it from becoming ingrown. These toenail clippers have been a lifesaver! They are sharp, so be careful. But they cut through those thick toenails like butter and are able to cut out ingrown areas with ease! I wish I had discovered these a long time ago!

Really awkward to cut your nails with.. The tip is poorly designed. Other than that it can still cut though thick as hell toenails.

Very easy to use even for this 77 year old with weak hands. Packaged very securely in leather case with separate plastic cover for the nippers. I looked for a good easy to use toenail clippers for a long time. These are perfect!

It really, really does cut very thick toe nails and it does it with ease. The price is very reasonable for a product that actually works. I would recommend this clipper to anyone that finds it hard to not only clip thick nails but those that find it hard to bend down to do so and those with ingrown nails.
