Supco WV1460 Water Valve Replaces 4201460

This worked perfectly for my sub zero. Fixed after 20 years of no water

WORKS LIKE OEM. HAD TO MAKE A FEW ADJUSTMENTS.

The Valve fits but it leaks. Right out of the box it leaks. Did I get a bad part or does this model of part not function for my sub zero 590

Perfect fit for older Subzero. No leaks yet.

Good product. I changed all of my water connections with Sharkbite connectors, as this was the second valve that has failed in ~ 10 years. The two connectors to the water dispenser and ice maker are Sharkbite PN 25458Z and PN 25410. The water supply to the valve also uses PN 25458Z. Note, the OEM design on the water supply to the valve is 1/4 in copper tubing. I converted the last 6 inches to plastic 1/4 with a 1/4 in OD to 1/4 in OD quick disconnect (Sharkbite or John Guest, don't have PN). Makes this change out SO MUCH easier.

This valve started shutting off incompletely after two days and stopped shutting off altogether after only six days. Don't waste your time with this valve.

Water valve did't shut off all the way - save your self some trouble and just buy the real subzero brand part.

This is the second attempt purchasing this valve and no luck. 9 out of 10 fills work and then drip drip drip and a endless puddle on the floor. It won't stop until you activate the water dispenser button a few times in succession. The towel at the base of my fridge doesn't really work for me so I'll be returning this one as well. Sure hope there is another brand out there because this one is a dud. At lease the returns are easy and not on my dime, thank you Amazon.
