The "instructions" are lame, at best. The ad clearly stated that this can be used for scissors. NO instructions, period. I attempted and ruined a pair of my scissors. I even went to YouTube and found nothing that completely demonstrates this item. Missing: THE SCISSORS and how you use it to sharpen them. I'm guessing, at this point, this is not possible, and the item is falsely advertised. Get yourself a LANSKY STONE! Sharpen scissors the old fashioned way and save the ones you have, especially if they're the old heavy metal type. "THEY DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE THEY USED TO!"
