Salewa Men's Ms MTN Trainer Lite Mid GTX Trekking & Hiking Boots

If you're looking at these boots you probably hike and climb. I am very happy with this pair. I have Danner, Keen, Merrill, Solomon, Kenetrek and now Salewa along with many others. I highly advise breaking them in before you hit the mountain. I had only put 5mi on mine before a challenging hike. Once they're broken in they're great. Very strong ankle support, very well made. I was disappointed with the insoles. You'll want to throw those away and invest in a good pair. Still haven't decided on a favorite manufacturer. Salewa is absolutely in the top five so far.

After 192miles, 59k elevation gain on mountain hiking in the PNW I can attest that these boots are in no way waterproof. My feet came back wet everytime. I get blister on my heals if I dont wear blister pads. The removable sole is uncomfortable.

Great fitting boot, comfortable. No complaints
