Very bright and continues to work nicely after 3 months

The media could not be loaded. This is definitely built of TOP QUALITY MATERIALS. This light comes in a very rugged case with a waterproof digital screen and cables. Even the menu buttons are waterproof. The cables are integral to the case and have a waterproof connection for extensions, it can be used to connect ordinary stage lights.I gave this to a friend who assured me that he was very happy with the light and I recommended it to him. It was fairly easy to set up and install, the optional DMX plug can be used to route it to a control console which can run specific lighting routines through it.It is particularly BRIGHT and definitely has 180W as stated in the description. I have to praise HOLDLAMP waterproof light is the best I have seen, I have bought other brands of lights, but they are not as good as this one.

I am having trouble matching up to the dmx outs that come with this. They are 3 pin just a different pattern. If someone knows what adapter is needed please respond to this.

These lights look well made and I have high hopes for their weather resistance. The maker included shielded cable connections, which I'm not sued to with the non-dmx lights I've purchased previously. The build seems rugged and thick metal for heat dispensation. They look sturdy and durable. I've only played with the menu presets thus far, have not yet tried the DMX controls which will be a learning curve, but I'm hopeful. The colors are richer than the non-DMX lights I've used, and the fades have less visible steps, smoother tansition. For this price point, it seems pretty darn good. I'm using these to illuminate outdoor artwork and am pretty picky about my needs. So far I'm satisified and pleasantly surprised.

It is extremely durable, water resistant, and can compete with more professional lights on the market.This light has a thick aluminum and iron alloy metal casing and has substantial weight to it. It comes with the adapters needed for the power and DMX connections, and is IP67 waterproof allowing a lot of versatility with outdoor use.The display is sharp and easy to navigate and you get either a 3-channel or 7-channel DMX option. Keep in mind, this light does not come with a remote control and is best paired with a DMX controller, however you can change the functions with physical buttons on the back of this light.The 180 watt LED is very bright covering a large area and the colors you can produce are very clean and precise.The only issue I had was fully connecting and disconnecting the power and DMX cables with the adapters as they are extremely tight to allow a water resistant connection.This light is impeccably well put together and is a perfect addition to any stage lighting fixture. This light by HOLDLAMP is a complete winner.

Item arrived in perfect shape in its own durable and well-padded box. It was easy to open and once I held the unit it was obvious that is build quality far surpasses any of the other lighting equipment I've purchased here on Amazon. For starters, it has a fully aluminum housing, so it's got some serious weight to it, and its sealed, so it is waterproof with a glass lens protecting the LED array. Also included are a waterproof power cord and waterproof DMX connectors. When powered up, the lights are quite bright too. It has the typical control buttons, a 'menu' button, some 'up' and 'down' value adjust buttons and an 'enter' button. You can use the menu button to toggle through various modes, similar to other lights on the market. Or it allows you to manually enter RGB values individually. But the most likely scenario anyone buying this light is interested in is connecting the unit to a DMX controller. Setting the DMX channel is a breeze, no manual needed. And once it was connected to my Enttec DMX controller, I was off.The unit has two modes, a 3-channel mode where you can adjust the brightness of each RGB channel individually via DMX, or a 7-channel mode that provides access to additional functionality, including strobing, color fading, pulsing and speed adjustments for each. It connected to my software easily and after defining the lights functions to the program, I was able to quickly program a sequence using Enttec's EMU lighting app. The light worked totally as expected, no lag, and it is much brighter than any of my other lights. For professional productions in need of a heavy duty, waterproof lighting, I can easily recommend this one.

My nephew has started a band and this gives them some character on stage so they stand out while performing alongside the rest of the local bands. He likes adding lighting and effects to make the show more memorable and to stand out.

I ordered this light first and foremost to use for parties, but I wound up setting it up on my patio and it's been on the gradual light rotation since then and I couldn't ask for a more embient experience. Next party though I plan to put this to good use! The colors are clear and bright, and the humidity is not affecting it all in south florida.
