My blanket did not come prewashed, which meant it needed washing to tighten the weave up. otherwise great value.

It’s single bed size doubled over once so it provides some warmth - I use for co- sleeping with my baby - safer than if we had my regular quilt on the bed as these are breathable - very glad I bought and excellent quality

These blankets are not fit for purpose.I read the previous reviews but figured they couldn't be that bad. My daughter has a dust allergy, so I wanted some simple cotton sheets that could be thrown in the wash. I bought two.They arrived with some markings and smelt like chemicals. No problem, I thought, I'll just wash them.1, They began to unravel in the first wash. But that wasn't the worst of it.2, The amount of fluff coming off them from the tumble dryer was INSANE. Clouds of fluff when I removed them from the tumble dryer. The filter clogged twice, and that's just on one drying cycle. Thank god I didn't wash them with anything else or everything would be white.REALLY, REALLY bad product. They shouldn't be sold in the UK. They're not up to UK standards. Truly awful. I'm going to try and get a refund but as I threw away the packing, I don't know if I can.Heed the other reviews and save your time and money. DO NOT BUY THESE.

I bought these blankets primarily to use as mattress covers, having found that quilted covers cost a fortune to launder as they don't fit a domestic washing machine. They are perfect for keeping the mattress fresh and are easily washed and line or tumble dried each week with the other bed linen. They are a light covering for children's beds in hot summer weather - a cotton sheet and one of the blankets is perfect as in the early hours the temperature drops and it is easy to get chilly. They are not 'winter blankets' - I find it curious that reviewers complain that they are not warm enough, as they are intended purely to provide an extra layer without generating too much heat - they really offer just a comforting protection when the weather is too much for a duvet. They are not glamorous and satin bound - but they are not a satin bound price either - they do the job and wash very well indeed.

I use this as the top blanket - going over the top sheet on my bed. This is the second one I've bought since last year. Quality is fair but in both cases is prone to being laddered in one or two places even when brand new,This would annoy some people. The material is prone to 'catching' easily because of the holes in the material which I feel do tend to cause this. However it serves my needs, did not cost the earth and if it turns out to be like the last one - will wash quite well so will be more durable than first impressions give. So, I'm glad I bought it!

At this price I was prepared to be disappointed but I love the blanket. If you prefer blankets to duvets this is ideal as a first layer. Lightweight and not too warming, it's perfect for a summer night. But when you put a couple of layers on top in autumn it comes into its own. It's thin and airy but drapes well, no issue with tenting and draughts past your shoulder, while those prickly woolen blankets can lie on top and keep you warm. Fits my small double bed (4 ft wide) well and would stretch to a full double but not a king-size.

This is a good blanket, if you are looking for an hospital style cellular blanket then this is great. It works well too. Washed before use and did leave a huge amount of fluff and lint behind, needed a good wash before use. Other than that its exactly what it described itself as.
