Great pencils. Very good quality. Recommended.

Good pencils
I bought these because I've started writing a lot more notes and they seem to be pretty good quality. The eraser works well and he writing doesn't smudge. They sharpen well and the point doesn't snap off easily in the sharpener like with some cheaper brands. I'm no pencil expert but I'll say they are an upgrade from the more common black and yellow ones.

Smell amazing, look great, sharpen well and hold a point. My go to from now on.

Then sharpen really nicely
I like these pencils, they sharpen up nicely, the core doesn't break and they write really smoothly, plus if you make a mistake, they erase easily, there's no smudging. With my maths there's a lot of mistakes, so the erasing bit it fairly key

These are arguably the best HB pencils out there
These are arguably the best HB pencils out there; but absolutely the best for the price. The size is good, the weight is good and the eraser actually works! Slightly softer than most HB leads but not a B - so, perfect! The only downside is getting them in the UK - this seller from Japan is quick and they come well wrapped, I've not had a broken one in several dozen. A side note is that this Mitsubishi is very similar to the Kitaboshi 9806, another great HB. Apart from the print along the pencil, they look and feel the same - whether one is a copy of the other, or one a re-badged version, I can't say.

Lesser version of 9852
Great pencils- excellent lead, and thicker than average with glossy paint and no sharp edges. Compared to the cedar wood 9852, these are composed of a mystery odourless wood. The 9852 (yellow) perhaps has marginally better lead and rubber. As these often sell for the same price, you might as well buy the superior 9852, unless you like the paint colour here.

Look lovely and write well!
From the packaging to the pencil, this set is great! I have always been rubbish at planning and writing notes down with pen, because if I make a mistake (which I do a lot π) then I rub it out! Sounds obvious I know but it helps with making everything look neat and well presented.Pencil definition aside - this specific set writes well, looks very classy and the rubber is effective.Being relatively hard, they will last ages! Absolute bargain if you ask me.Hope this helps anyone looking to purchase

Reliable and Elegant
I love pencils and have been using all sorts of products, without exaggeration. This one, with a rubber, is heavier than other Mitsubishi pencils (e.g. 9800) and not as thick as 9852. I noticed that some HB pencils are softer than others, and I would say this one is right in the middle, i.e., what you would expect from an HB lead. What I like about this product in particular is the colour. In my opinion it looks elegant ! The real colour is closer to the maroon colour (like a kidney bean !) rather than a red colour on the package.
