From how it seems, I would guess that I could have hung a slightly heavier object. They seem like they are very sturdy and would hold a lot of weight. I have not tried to remove them, so I can't really comment on that.

After doing a bit of research, I decided to go with the 3M Command Strips — yes, they’re pricier than other brands, but honestly, sometimes it’s worth paying more to avoid a headache later. I used them to hang a full-length mirror on the back of my closet door. Didn’t want to drill into the door or deal with repainting down the line, and these strips totally solved that problem. Those are strong enought to keep my paintings up, good quality and amount for price. We also just moved and they were super easy to remove.

I used these on the back of the TV when RVing to hold the wires to the back.The problem is with the bouncing along on the highway, it comes loose.I do like the way they hold on the wall at home and the way to remove them.I had better luck with another product but that does not have a hook.
