Great for little hands and keeping busy
Great gift option to play with orbeez and kinetic sand. Kept my kids entertained for a long time. Only thing is they easily took off the parts connected to handle and broke one. But toddlers always find a way. Still a great purchase

Good for sensory bins
These worked great with our library sensory pool full of water beads. Would also do well for pom poms or the like. But I wonder how durable they’ll be in the long run. They seem a little flimsy for classroom/library- our stuff sees hard use. Would be fine for home, probably.

Great scoopers for a sensory bin
I ordered these scoops to add to my sensory bin in my preschool class. I love them and so do the kids. However, when I received my package from Amazon, which was a padded envelope not a box , the container was completely smooshed and one of my scoops was already broken in the plastic container they came in. I was able to put it back together but it just doesn't hold well, so I guess I will have to glue it. The scoopers do occasionally come off but they pop right back on. They are pretty sturdy considering they are holding up to the 4 year olds in my classroom.

Durable fine motor skill builders
Fun and Durable Fine Motor Skill Builders – Some Handles a Bit TightI’ve used these Handy Scoopers in my daycare, and they’re fantastic for developing kids’ hand strength and coordination. The bright colors are very inviting, and the kids absolutely love using them with sensory bins, water beads, or even sand. The plastic is sturdy and easy to clean – I just wash them in warm, soapy water and let them air dry.The only slight drawback is that some of the handles are a little tight for younger or weaker hands, so not every child can squeeze them easily at first. They do loosen up a bit with use. Overall, though, they’re a great tool for playful learning and skill development!★★★★☆ (4/5)

Awesome for play time in sensory bins
I first saw these scoopers when I took my 2 & 4 yr old girls to a program at our local library. These were set up in a sensory bin full of rice. All of the kids loved the activity, it was the most popular one in the room. Knowing that amazon carries just about everything, I searched for them and found them when we got home that day. For Easter, I made up a sensory bin full of those orbeez-like water balls for the toddlers who were present. The orbeez were a hit as well as the handy scoopers that the kids used to play in them.Pros:They come in bright vibrant colors that are stimulating to toddlersThe handles are the same as scissor handles so this will get your toddler use to holding a pair of scissors. They can be used for many types of activities. As I mentioned above, the library used them for a rice sensory bin, I used them for orbeez, another option for outdoor fun is to get a bin full of birdseed. You can also hide objects and toys within the sensory bin and the scoopers can be used to identify and scoop the different objects.Cons: nothing I can identify

They broke. I had to glue them. Kids enjoyed them.

I am really enjoying using these in teaching preschool
I love that I can use these and the children can use them too. Even 2 year olds can use them and the holes make them so that they can be used in water. I even wish the holes were larger so that they would be more effective with sand, cornmeal, flour, etc...I think they will help students to learn the motion for cutting faster. I am not sure how they will stand up to years of use. I will have to wait and see, but so far they are holding up to the battering that students are putting on them.

A Win for a normal family
Just a Mom here, no therapist or classroom professional. We got these to use with our Orbeez. I was surprised that there were much bigger then I thought. Happily surprised! (You can fit a golf ball inside with room to jiggle it.) There is rubber like lining inside the finger holes for comfort. Easy for my 2.5 year old and certainly my 5 yr old to use. Four was a great number because I put two away for the inevitable broken or lost ones that will occur. Now, the plastic is thin on the "ball" parts. So, I do anticipate them cracking and or shattering (if one were to be stepped on or thrown...toddlers!). But the price is decent and four come so I feel this was a good purchase and besides the Orbeez they will use them with their Kinetic Sand and probably the bathtub.
