I attached this to the vent, so I don't know how well the suction cup works. However, this product works very well. The phone is secure, yet easy to put it on and take it off. The device is sturdy and holds the phone securely.

UPDATE: I’m changing my review from 3 stars to 4 just because I have been very happy with the vent clip. Customer service also contacted me about sending a replacement (adhesive pad) which I appreciated. I might try to mount it to the dashboard again in the future but for right now I’m happy using the vent clip.When I purchased this my plan was to mount it to my dashboard. I cleaned my dashboard, placed the adhesive pad, pushed down on it firmly for several minutes and then left it for 24 hours like the directions said. The next morning I added the suction cup mount. It held my phone for maybe 10 to 15 minutes before falling off. It was the adhesive pad that came off of the dashboard (the suction cup actually works really well.. I can’t get it off the adhesive pad lol). Apparently the adhesive pad can only be used once so I guess I won’t be putting it back on. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this item and the ones I saw didn’t seem to mention the adhesive pad not sticking. Maybe I got a defective one? Or maybe I didn’t put enough pressure on it when I was attaching it to my dashboard.. although I’m pretty sure I did!!Luckily, it also comes with a vent clip. That’s why I’m giving it three stars. I just used it on a six hour trip and the vent clip stayed in place and securely held my phone. If it wasn’t for having another option I would be very unhappy with my purchase.

I have had this mount for a while and it works great. The mount sticks well to the dash and is easy to adjust for any angle. It hold different size phones, with cases, easily. Recently I started to drive a different car and wanted to move the mount. The suction was so great that it was hard to remove and the suction cup was damaged. I contacted support and they mailed me a new suction mount right away. It took about 5 days to arrive. I would highly recommend this mount.

I bought this because I do gig work. I put it on my windshield. I love that it not only has adhesive but a suction to really make it stable. I have purchased several before and the suction always gave out with in a few weeks. I don't care for the ones that hang on you vents as I do not want them to get damaged from the constant weight and putting my phone in an out of the phone holder. So far so good. 10 out of 10.

Had my car stolen and they stole my phone mount that was in the car, one I payed almost 60 dollars for a while back. This thing is the perfect replacement for almost half the price. Suction is strong and phone doesn’t bounce/move around much. Even on the terrible Seattle roads I drive on it doesn’t move much at all. Plenty of adjustability to have your phone exactly where you want it.

I didn't try it on my window. It might work better on glass. It did not stick on my dashboard. The product is made very well, it you can use it on glass or another surface.

My vehicle has a very tight space between the A pillar and the instrument binnacle, so I needed a suction mount that was very adjustable and ultra stable since I didn't want anything rubbing up against the delicate interior finishes on my vehicle. This VANMASS piece is perfect in all respects -- it is well made, very adjustable, and VERY STABLE. I was shocked -- when I first started playing around with it and was trying to find the perfect position it stuck pretty solidly to the windshield before I had even applied the locking mechanism; once the locking mechanism is applied this unit isn't going anywhere. The cradle for the phone is ultra adjustable and easily accepts my iPhone 13 Pro Max, and I like the single button release which opens softly and smoothly so that I can remove my phone.I had a couple of questions for VANMASS customer support and they (Elsa) were super responsive and helpful.I cannot think of any negatives about this unit, in fact, it's so good that I ordered another one for one of my other cars.
