Needed a couple pulleys which would be exposed to the weather, and even submerged in drain water at times. These fit the bill!

Like other reviewers have stated, these jam up under the slightest of loads - 5 to 10 pounds was enough to where they completely seize up. The pins are made out of a rolled steel which is slightly out of round (and has a seam), so even with some graphite they are just useless for their intended purpose.The design of the slightly more expensive pulleys you can buy at a hardware store is just better all around. These aren't useful, even as a toy. I believe people using these successfully are using paracord or equivalent slippery rope, which is sliding over the smooth surface of the pulley - it SEEMS like it's working but if you connect two or more you'll realize the friction loss is terrible.

Overall, I'm happy with these. They are very sturdy/solid. However, even after greasing them extensively, they still make a lot of noise when the pully wheel is being turned.

I wanted corrosion resistant blocks with removable sheaves so I could rig lines with thimbles and/or eyes already installed. These fit the bill, and the price was right. I bit extra slop between the sheaves and pin and it remains to be seen if the sheave is anything more than white metal, but tough to beat for the price.

Used to upgrade boat lift. Worked perfectly.

Very good quality at a reasonable price. Works perfect for 3/8" rope.
