I really love this for grating fresh garlic, WITHOUT grating my fingertips!

I thought this would work better than my Pampered Chef garlic press (after watching it in action) but it did not. Plus, it was very hard to get clean. I kept it for a backup.

I had to get used to this garlic press, you have to press pretty hard to get the garlic through, maybe my garlic was not fresh, but as you can see it smashes it unerneath, not all of it comes through the holes, but I just gently scrape both sides (very easy) and it all comes off, all comes out well during cooking, and its easier for me to use the rocking motion than to squeeze the standard press. Plus, you can smash more garlic this way than fits in the standard press.

Thus garlic mashers works fine. Nothing fancy and kind of hard to clean. The holes might be too big. But overall decent product. Cuts down chopping time but adds to cleaning time.

This Garlic press looks very strong and confortable in hand, but pressing garlic through it is nothing easy as demonstrated in the ad. You have to put a lot of pressure to only get a small amout through. Too hard to use don't recommend.

I like to make curries and Italian dishes that require crushed garlic. This garlic press does the job better than anything else I have tried. The garlic presses through the mesh surface and can be scraped off into a bowl or pan with ease. It does take a bit of arm-strength to press it down on a large clove of garlic, but cutting up the clove into a few pieces eases this problem.Best of all: It cleans up with little effort, a nylon brush and hot running water.

First of all, the device has a very solid feel to it, as it seems to be made quite well. To me, it took some time to get the best results. Sometimes, if the piece of garlic is rounded, it will push it off to the side when pressing on it. I have found that when there are squared off chunks (precut the garlic in halves), it pushes through the blades/holes better. It does mash up the garlic pretty well with several passes. I used a small paring knife to clear off the garlic from the inside of the press. It is easier to clean than my old press that is designed like a piston in a cylinder. All in all, it is a fairly decent unit.

Arrived damaged. Does not appear to be the same as product advertised. The one pictured on the Amazon website was branded 'DEKAVA' the one I received was unbranded. There were strands of hot glue from the misfitting trim pieces on the side and one trim plate was completely detached. The grate was discoloured and did not appear to be stainless steel. I requested and received a refund.

Easy to peel garlic and crush. Cleaning the crusher is a lot easier than the old style one I have.

Love this garlic press!! Works great and is super easy to clean!!

The first time I used this product the decorative metal pieces popped off. It takes a lot of force to crush the garlic and rocking back and forth. I would not recommend this product.

I like that simple easy hand movement minces the garlic easily!
