QFX SBX-412300-BL Bluetooth Speaker with Built-In Amplifier - Blue

Really I think I would've paid this much just for the case. It couldn't look any cooler. The Bluetooth pairs easily and works well with it. I also tried a Pyle microphone and it seems to work really well with it, too. Sound QUALITY is not what the target is here; it's LOUDNESS. Party loudness. It's not meant for low volume or even medium volume. It's not made for your bedroom or living room. It's for bigger spaces for sure. It won't win any love from audiophiles. It has a lot of MID-bass thump, but keep in mind, these are 12" woofers and not subwoofers. This will be quite obvious once you hear it. Also, there are no outputs to add a sub. I'm going to use it for my daughter's wedding reception and believe it will serve that purpose well for a great price.

I purchased this after my other one in January. I read the reviews and said hey that one sounds like it would be better sounding. I wanted another Bluetooth speaker for fun and for using at work now and again.I could have sworn that the description says 40 inches for height. I got this delivered and finally out of the box. The box was only a few inches shorter than myself. I had said must be loads of Styrofoam protecting. This thing is huge for me. It is 48 inches and that is up to my shoulder. I can not get this into my car to take to work (well I could if I wanted to drive with the doors open).This thing is so loud and has a wonderful sound that anything else is not as good. I am now trying to find a place to safely use this. I tried in the house but rattled the window (great sound). I then took it to the garage and used that there. That is not the place for it either. I found it vibrated so much that it was making the joint compound from the ceiling come down.I can say if you want really loud sounding music that could almost annoy people one mile away then get this. It is great and love it but has its limitations on locations of playing .This is a very nicely built unit. It has some very good weight and has handles to move (one on each side and one on the back).

[UPDATE 7/28/15] - I loved this speaker so much I purchased another to add to my little DJ Set. If you think one is awesome, 2 will absolutely BLOW YOU AWAY. Incredible... I included a pic of my messy practice area, to give the speakers a sense of scale...I started DJ'ing casually a few weeks ago, so my experience with an actual DJ setup is minimal (for now). My modest setup consists of this speaker, an iPad Air and a 2KV8581 - Numark iDJ Pro Audio Mixer. With that said, I do enjoy music and decent to high quality sound. This speaker did NOT disappoint, at all. The speaker is rated at 4000 watts peak. It is SO LOUD I only had it up barely halfway (on the speaker) and barely to the halfway point on the IDJ Pro Controller volume.I first tested it out at a very small, intimate party with around 10-15 people and then at a much larger dance party. The crowd LOVED IT. I played a variety of music ranging from mellow Neo Soul and Lounge House to 4 straight hours of loud EDM, Dancehall Reggae, Hip-Hop and R&B. The speakers performed admirably, with no sign of the output faltering or minimizing whatsoever.Below are some high points:+Solid cabinet build - complete with wheels on the bottom and handles for easily moving the unit around+Bass response - the bass is very tight and pretty precise. It CAN get boomy, but that can be adjusted by the EQs and Bass nob+EQ - as I mentioned, there is an EQ built onto the top/front of the unit. Not only is there one EQ, there are 2 and also separate Bass and Treble nobs. With these, there should be no issues crafting the sound to the best profile+Multiple inputs - you can plug a vast array of devices up to the speaker including home audio, as well as DJ controllers and Mics.+Bluetooth connectivity - I was able to pair up various phones and tablets and stream music with little effort, without ANY dropouts. The sound also was excellent. *Note* There will be latency if you are using DJ software on a tablet or phone+LED Lights - I thought this was going to be a cheesy addition, however, the lights add something positive to the experience and I got quite a few comments on "how cool" they were, lol. The lights pulsate to the music and get brighter and more intense with the loudness of the musicI didn't touch on all the positives. I tried to get the most important ones in, though. This speaker is a great addition to my setup and I plan on purchasing another for future events. The price-point is great and so is the sound. I would definitely recommend this to anyone starting out or anyone that might need an additional speaker for their setup.

This unit is great for the price. I really did not expect much out if it due to its price. It has everything I needed it for ( buetooth, 2 mic inputs with echo, guitar input, RCA input for extenal device like a TV or a computer without bluetooth). Sound is acceptable but not of the highest quality in my opinion. It gets loud but I think it could be louder. You may need a pre-amp and a separate equalizer to get the best out of it. Bass is just okay as it is but as I have said you may need a separate equalizer to tune it up. There is a subtle hum coming out of the unit when it is on but not distracting. Overall, I love the unit. Highly recommend it.

Awesome speaker, at high or low volume. Easy access blue tooth, it connected with no problem,as with other blue tooth speakers I have had problems. So glad I purchased this item. I have used it already for Halloween party, & to scare the kids with haunted noises. It fit right in with the party lights going. I had people asking what type of speaker it was, I was happy to tell them & that I got it from Amazon. I was surprised at the cost of it, I normally pay well above that for my speakers, but I thought with all the good reviews this speaker has it's gotta be good & I was right.

This is just for playing loud music. The sound quality is horrible when playing at a low volume as the twitters are not even activated unless the volume is up to a certain level. Also it Seems like the seller have been having issue to set the price. I bought this at $270 around mid June, a few days later the price jumped to over $800. Now it's being sold at $189, It makes me wonder what is really the fair value of the speaker.
